West once said that he played Batman “for laughs, but in order
to do [that], one had to never think it was funny. You just had to pull

In a statement, his family said: “Our dad always saw himself as
the Bright Knight and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’
lives. He was and always will be our hero.”
The family later posted the following tweet from West’s official Twitter account:
“Our beloved AW passed away last night. He was the greatest.
We’ll miss him like crazy. We know you’ll miss him too – West Family.”
His tongue-in-cheek portrayal of Batman and the superhero’s alter

He most recently played a character in the animated comedy Family Guy.
