Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai has clarified that he has no intention to run for president in the 2019 elections.
He said this while speaking to reporters at the State House on Friday after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
El-Rufai has said that all he and a group of governors and minister who identify as “Buharists’ are concerned with is making sure Buhari runs in 2019.
If Buhari chooses not to run, el-Rufai says, the president himself will choose what direction to go.
