Selena Gomez’s Friend speaks up about Kidney Donation – “I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life but changed mine”

The fact that singer Selena Gomez had a kidney transplant with a kidney donated by her friend has been trending for the past couple of hours. The story, shared on Selena’s Instagram page, warmed the heart of many and Selena’s fans have taken to the Instagram page of said friend to express their gratitude.

Selena’s longtime friend, Francia Raisa has now issued a short statement about the transplant surgery that saved Selena Gomezi’s life.

Francia wrote on her Instagram account, “I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life, but changed mine in the process.
