A Twitter user, Odogwu Kenneth, posted a thread of 100 actually awful things Nigerians have come to normalize, and what’s sad about it is that it’s true.
From the reality of getting used to having an ailing president, to barely passable roads (in every single state in the country), the terrible power supply, delayed pensions, neglect of infrastructure, the list just goes on.
Probably the most normalized is every citizen in a country of over 180 million providing their own water.
Has every Nigerian household become a government on its own?
