Nigeria is through to the quarter-final of the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.

The Super Eagles defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in their final group game on Tuesday night, to seal qualification as Group C winners.

Salisu Yusuf’s men suffered a scare, conceding the first goal five minutes before the break.

However, Anthony Okpotu levelled the game in the 58th minute.

Ojo Solomon and Rabiu Ali added two more goals, as Nigeria put the match beyond reach.

Libya finished second in the group, after a 1-0 win over Rwanda in the other game.
