On Wednesday, 6th of November, 2018, Davido, commented on a post on IG that indicated his NYSC participation may have been cancelled.
UK show promoter; Smade, posted a picture of a letter of outstanding performance given to him by the Lagos State NYSC management for his contribution in ‘entertaining’ his fellow corps members and other people at the Iyana-Ipaja camp of the Federal Scheme.
On seeing the picture, Davido commented. He wrote; “Nah so dem cancel my own”. This comment has left many people wondering if what he meant was that his youth service has been cancelled or maybe it’s just an ordinary banter.
We would recall there was a time a section of the social media was calling for Davido to be punished as he broke the bye law of the NYSC that says a youth corper shall not participate in any political activity during his/her service year.
And we will still remember that Davido is still serving when he did a campaign for his uncle during the run to the Osun gubernatorial election back in September of this year.
