The lives of about six persons have been brutally ended by some cultists during a clash in Anambra.
A renewed clash between rival cult groups has left about six people dead in Anambra state.
It was gathered that the latest killing happened yesterday in Awka, the state capital, as about six (6) person were said to have been killed in total at the Amikwo part of the inner city, mostly inhabited by locals and tenants.
The residents are calling on the state government to step up the security situation and prevent further killings by the warring groups.
Last year, over ten person were shot dead during a bloodbath in Obosi,Idemili North local Government Area of Anambra state when two prominent cult groups in the area, Vikings and Aiye confraternities, clashed.
Two pregnant women were shot, and scores of persons robbed in the course of the fight.
